Remembering Saramago

It’s Jose Saramago’s birthday, which reminds me of ‘Afterdeath’, a poem I wrote in which texts by Edwin Morgan (1920-2010) and José Saramago (1922-2010) speak to each other, published in Westerly 56:2 South/East Asia Special Issue guest edited by Shalmalee Palekar, and a piece I wrote for Woodsmoke, ages ago.
