Land of the Well

Sampurna’s new novel Land of the Well is just out (June 2012) from HarperCollins, available at bookstores across the country and online at Amazon:

Actor Shernaz Patel began the evening with a fabulous reading of extracts from the book, which was followed by a conversation with Sampurna led by poet Ranjit Hoskote.

The evening began with a fine analysis of the book by Ambarish Satwick (who described Land of the Well as a “cerebral thriller”) followed by a conversation on syndromes, cults, inter-texuality and the psychosomatic nature of illness.
